CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE


About the Job

Customer Service Representative will coordinate between international distributors, NOP Shipping, and Accounting to ensure a smooth process for all international orders. This position will serve as a back up to the Customer Service Representative 2.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review International Purchase Orders for accuracy.
  •  Communicate issues with International Distributors for corrections.
  •  Enter International Orders into NGERP.
  •  Obtain Commercial Invoice from International Distributor when required.
  •  Prepare Manual Commercial Invoice for MULTI OPTICA DISTRIBUIDORA
     LTD
  •  Prepare NAFTA Documents for distributor shipments to Mexico.
  •  Coordinate with third party freight forwarder for pick-up of shipments at NOP
     when necessary.
  •  Arrange for International returns when necessary.
  •  Process orders for replacement machines and parts for International
     Distributors.
  •  Update machine ship schedule with Serial Numbers and Ship Dates on
     International Machine Shipments.
  •  Issue RMA as required to all International Distributors.
  •  Files all international shipping documents as required by export regulations
  •  Other duties may be assigned.
  •  PARTS ORDER
     ·Forward all non-distributor part requests to the appropriate distribution   
      channel.
     ·Process all International Distributor orders.
  •  ORDER FOLLOW-UP
     ·Provide assistance in tracking of late and missing shipments requested by  
      International Distributors.
     ·Liaison with International Distributors when notified of miss-shipments by 
      UPS and/or Fed-X.

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively to customers over the telephone. Bilingual in Spanish preferred by not required.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
